The mum of two shared her tasty tip with her 26K followers on TikTok last month.

In the 30 second clip she revealed how you can claim a number of free snacks without the need to order anything else from the restaurant at the same time.

She said in the video: “Do you like free food? Obviously the answer is going to be yes.”

The 40-year-old from Essex explained how if you download the KFC app you can start earning rewards straight away, that you’re able to redeem for food from the chicken chain.

One of the most popular items on the menu, Gemma managed to bag popcorn chicken bites for free when she tried out the hack herself two months ago.

The free to download app will track any orders you place and help you rack up points in its own rewards system.

These are called stamps.

Just by setting up an account you’ll accumulate three stamps, and you can use these straight away to bag a freebie.

The three stamps can be traded in for any side dish and you don’t need to buy anything else at the time.

So you could get two hot wings, a small popcorn chicken or any side or drink completely free of charge, saving you anywhere between 99p and £1.99 as the prices of each of these options can vary.

“If you’re not new, and you already have the app, you won’t miss out and can also get three free stamps,” Gemma said.

“All you have to do is get someone else you know, that hasn’t done so already, to download the app and use your own referral code.”

Of course, if you continue to rack up more stamps you’ll be able to claim bigger rewards in the form of bigger and more pricey meals.

Spend more than £3 and you get a stamp, but spend more than £15 and you get two stamps.

With three stamps you can claim a free side, with seven stamps it’s a free snack, and rack up the maximum 11 stamps to get £5 off your order.

You’ll have to factor in delivery charges that can start from £1.99 if you’re treating yourself to a home delivery of the fast-food though, KFC has over 900 chains you can visit too to collect an order you place on the app – check the list of stores.

It’s not only on TikTok that Gemma is sharing the delicious deals, as the money-saving mummy is looking to take on the discount world, spreading her hot tips.

She also goes by @moneymumofficial on Instagram where her savings knowledge is passed on to 227K followers, and she told The Sun: “I love sharing my money tips everyday on Insta and TikTok.”

She’s no stranger to dishing the latest on how to save your wallet either, as she’s revealed everything from being frugal at Christmas to halving your weekly shopping bill in her Fabulous columns.

There was other expert advice the savings supreme had to share too on how to bag the best deals on food, especially as many Brits are pinching their pockets around this time of year.

Gemma said: “If I eat somewhere all the time, I’ll always make sure to get their app as there’s forever deals popping up to try.

“I try to make sure I sign up to their newsletter as well, that way I know I’m one of the first to know about deals.

“And just like with KFC, I’ll sign up to any rewards points, etcetera, they have.”
